As to the titles in the last paragraph, I have used the words "lasue "Inspector" "Sub Inspector" "Sergeant" and "Constables, but any other 555 titles will do equally well, in fact, probably better, for there would be then be no chance of the Harbour Watchnen being taken for, or confused with,, the members of the Police Force.

11. It will be seen that my scheme will not, in any way, affect the Water Police. They will continue to patrol and police the Waters of the Colony, as heretofore, and, it may be, the two forces will be able to assist each other. There is no fear of the one inter#fring with the functions of the obber, or of their interest conflicting, for both will be working for the

promotion of law and order, though approaching it by different paths.
